  1. To prepare Air Fryer Calamari, start by thoroughly cleaning the squid by removing the head and tentacles, removing the innards and the cartilaginous quill. Cut the tentacles from the head and remove the skin from the squid body. While cleaning, keep rinsing the squid under running water, which will help speed up the process.
  2. Rinse everything thoroughly and pat dry with kitchen paper. Cut the squid into rings and coat them, along with the tentacles, in plenty of semolina flour. Using a sieve, shake off the excess flour.
  3. Spray some oil on the air fryer basket, place the calamari without overlapping them too much, spray with a few more puffs of olive oil and cook at 200°C (392°F) for about 7-10 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model and the size of the calamari.
  4. When they are golden brown and cooked through, the Air Fryer Calamari are ready to be served. Season with a pinch of fine salt and enjoy. Finally, remember to download our App with exclusive content and fewer ads!
