  1. To prepare Baked Falafel, start by soaking the chickpeas for twelve hours. After the soaking time, drain them, rinse well and place them in a food processor.

  2. Add parsley, cumin, salt, garlic, half an onion, and pepper, then blend everything well until you get a slightly grainy mixture.

  3. Once you have the mixture, place it in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

  4. After the mixture has firmed up, shape the Falafel using your hands, giving them a slightly flattened form. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-30 minutes.

  5. Turn them during cooking, and once well cooked, remove them from the oven and serve your Baked Falafel while still hot, although they can also be enjoyed at room temperature.

Alternatives

Storage
