Instructions

  1. To prepare Beer-Braised Pork Loin take a saucepan, pour some oil, the clove of garlic rosemary, sage and sauté. Add the loin and over high heat brown it well on all sides so that it seals well and retains all the juices. Once well browned, season with salt and pepper, pour in some beer, allow the alcohol part to fade slightly and once done lower the heat and with the lid closed cook for about 1.2 hours taking care to turn the meat and if needed add, from time to time a little bit of beer

  2. When the meat is cooked, remove it from the saucepan, pour in some more beer and, raising the flame to the highest setting, let the sauce reduce. Cut your pork loin into slices, arrange them on serving plates, pour some of the sauce over them and serve the Beer-Braised Pork Loin immediately.

Alternatives

You can prepare Beer Pork Loin with the type of Beer you prefer: you can use classic Blonde Beer, but also a Red Beer.

Tips

For a perfect Beer Loin, we recommend getting a pork loin that contains some fat so that when cooking it will help you get a juicy and tender loin. If you want, during the cooking phase you can substitute beer for the meat stock and use beer only in the final part of preparing the sauce.

Storage

Leftover Beer Pork Loin can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days, sealed in an airtight container.
