  1. To prepare Chocolate and Walnut Cookies, start by melting the chocolate with butter using a double boiler method (bain-marie).
  2. Separately, using an electric mixer, beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy, creating a pale and foamy mixture.
  3. Gradually pour in the melted chocolate, then add flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing well to combine.
  4. Roughly chop the walnuts with a knife and add about two-thirds of them to the batter, stirring to distribute them as evenly as possible.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and, using two spoons, form well-spaced mounds of dough on the prepared sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining walnuts and chocolate chips on top of each cookie and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes.
