Instructions

  1. To prepare the Roasted Pork Loin with Orange Sauce start by carefully washing the oranges, grate the peel of 1 orange and squeeze them so you get the juice (should be about 400 ml).

  2. Now add in a pan or casserole a little bit of oil, a knob of butter, the rosemary sprig, the clove of garlic, bring to temperature and brown your loin over high heat.

  3. While the loin is browning, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with a little bit of oil. Once it is nicely browned on all sides, lower the flame, drizzle with the juice of the squeezed oranges, sprinkle with the orange peel and cover with a lid.

  4. Bake your loin for about 1 hour, taking care to turn it occasionally and drizzle it with the cooking juices. Once it is cooked, remove the loin from the casserole dish and slice it.

  5. Return your slices to the saucepan, drizzle them well with the cooking juices, turn the heat back on low and cook for another 10-15 minutes.

  6. When the sauce has shrunk your Orange Pork Loin is ready to be served piping hot.
